What is required of an A+ Tutor?
You will be provided with all the lesson plans and materials required to instruct the children under your care.
What Will Be Required of Me as an A+ Tutor?
A "Tutor-Friendly" Program
We provide all lesson plans and materials required for students to complete the program. We simply need passionate tutors to carry out our program with fidelity.
Time Commitment
Each tutoring commitment typically requires two 90 minute sessions per week, right after school. Terms typically last 12 weeks. A+ Tutors can elect to instruct more than two sessions per week, and more than one term per school year.
We do not schedule tutoring sessions on school holidays.
Tutor Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and instructing small groups of elementary school children.
Using the provided lesson plans and materials to carry out the A+ Tutor U program with fidelity.
Ensuring the safety of the children under your supervision using the procedures we provide.
Where are Tutoring Sessions Held?
Our tutoring sessions are held at the school, within walking distance from the school, or at after school programs, daycare centers, or community club houses. . .
