What will my child do in the A+ Tutor U Program

Child recieves medal for participation in tutoring program

We build a personalized learning plan around your child’s needs.

What will my child do in the A+ Tutor U Program?

After school sessions focus on sharpening reading or math skills. The learning plans are built around your child’s school performance and test scores, and you get to approve the learning plan.

When and Where are Tutoring Sessions held?

Sessions are generally 90 minutes, twice weekly, immediately after school. Sessions are conducted either at your child’s school, a venue adjacent to their school, or at after school programs or daycare centers.

Personalized Instruction

The curriculum is structured around your child’s needs and small class size (typically a 5 to 1 ratio) ensures time for one on one interaction between the tutor and the student.

Monthly Progress Reports

We will keep you up-to-date on your child’s progress with a monthly report that demonstrates their progress based upon the goals set in their personalized learning plan.

Student Safety

We supervise the students from the time they arrive to the tutoring session until the session is over. The tutor will ensure that your child is dismissed in the manner you request (parental pick up, walk home, etc…).

Tasty Daily Snacks

Children receive tasty snacks at each session to help keep them alert and ready to work.

Completion Ceremony and Attendance Prize

Upon completion of the program your child will attend a completion ceremony where they will receive:

  • A+ Tutor U Completion Certificate
  • A+ Tutor U T-Shirt
  • A+ Tutor U Super Student Medallion
  • BIG Achievement/Attendance Prize of the Students Choice
