How to Sign Up for Free After School Tutoring
Make sure you request A+ Tutor U as the #1 Choice on your application
Follow these three easy steps to sign your child up for free after school tutoring from A+ Tutor U.
Step 1. Find out if your child qualifies for free tutoring.
Your child will qualify if they are eligible for free/reduced lunch and if they attend a school identified as a School In Need of Improvement for three years. Find out more details»
Step 2. Complete the "Free Tutoring" application.
Complete the application that gives you the option to choose free tutoring. You should receive this application mid-summer. If you do not receive the application, call you child’s school or the district office and request the application.
Fill in A+ Tutor U as your “1” Choice on the selection/enrollment form.
Step 3. Return the Form On Time
You must return the form before the deadline. You can submit it at your child’s school or the District School Board office. Don't wait until the last minute. There are a limited number of openings for the free tutoring program in each school district.
